Mask Policy: May 18,2021
The mask mandate ended in the City of Manhattan on May 16 at midnight. However, businesses may still set their own policies and procedures regarding the use of masks. What follows is the Good Witch Cleaning Services, LLC mask policy.
No-Contact Entry
For unoccupied homes (like move out cleans) we still prefer a contact-free entry. We have many ways to achieve this for your convenience:
Drop the key off in our dropbox at the office
Leave a door unlocked
Give us a door code or garage code
Give a spare key to the sales agent who visits the home during your consultation
We appreciate your cooperation with this policy. Limiting contact for our boots-on-the-ground cleaners prevents the transfer of Covid-19 and other illnesses through our cleaning technicians. (Wondering about our sales agent? She is largely isolated from the team, and our existing clients).
Absence
As before, we still prefer you to be absent from the home while we are cleaning.
Mask Use for Clients
If you need to be home, you may wear or not wear a mask at your discretion: we won’t tell you what to wear in your own home. If you would like to be mask-free, please be on a different floor of the home than your cleaners. If you are mask-free and in the same space as our cleaners, we will ask you only once to return to your designated area: after that, we will replace you with a family on our waitlist.
Mask Use for Employees
Employees shall continue to wear a mask at all times in an occupied home. The only way an employee may be mask-free in an occupied home is if all of the following conditions are met:
The employee is fully vaccinated and their vaccination record is on file.
The employee gives written consent to be mask-free, and it is on file.
The client gives written consent for the employee to be mask-free, and it is on file.
