Covid Policies: What to Do if Your Household is Exposed
Cases are rising again in the face of new variants and relaxed public health policies. Even breakthrough cases are becoming common. This is a great time, therefore, to remind everyone of our Covid-19 policies.
If you or your family member came into close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid 19, please let us know immediately. We will cancel your upcoming appointment(s) with no penalty.
To get back on the schedule, please have a negative test plus at least 72 hours symptom-free. We will not require proof of your test, but if we find that a client is violating this honor system, they can expect to find another cleaning service. I will not willingly or knowingly put my team members’ health at risk, and I expect our clients to share in this basic human kindness.
We promise that if a staff member has come into close contact with someone who tested positive, we will do the same: the employee will be instructed to quarantine and be removed from job sites until a negative test and 72 hours of no symptoms has been achieved. We will provide resources to the employee on where to get tested at no cost and how to meet their personal and financial needs while they are under quarantine.
We also promise to continue wearing masks in your home, wash and sanitize our hands often, use clean cloths in each home, clean equipment between homes, and clean touchpoints in your home in order to reduce the chances of transmission.
Thank you for your cooperation.
